𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗶𝘁 is known for his work with bands like Einstürzende Neubauten and Die Haut. He also works as a solo artist. His latest project is a creative exploration into experimental sound.

𝗟𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗵’s work serves as a critical case study in the subversive potentials of performance art. His contributions are an articulation of body-positive transgression, and a testament to the intricate relationships between the cerebral, the corporeal, and the emotional, all undergirded by a persistent commitment to inventive dialogue and art’s capacity for both questioning and community-building.

THE HUB: A Program for Temporary Collaborations as Performance

The HUB is a space set up to practice collaboration as performance through a series of acts. The acts occur amorphously into situations conditioned by actual circumstances and their occurrences are transformative. The participating artists explore the perception of time and the self-reflexive nature of embodied experience, in which awareness evolves continuously within the constant flow of acts. Their explorations are guided by the performative principles of mobility, fluidity, ephemerality, repetition, contingency, and indeterminacy, embracing non-knowledge and non-representation. Through these collaborative acts, THE HUB opens up a space for reflecting on political and social challenges in a world of rapidly shifting power structures that create a fragile present and an uncertain future.

THE HUB: Ein Programm für temporäre Kooperationen als Performance

THE HUB initiiert einen Raum durch eine Reihe performativer Akte, um eine Praxis der Zusammenarbeit als Performance zu entwickeln. Die teilnehmenden Künstler*innen untersuchen die Wahrnehmung von Zeit und die selbstreflexive Natur verkörperter Erfahrung, in der sich das Bewusstsein innerhalb des konstanten Flusses von Akte kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt. Ihre Forschung orientiert sich an den performativen Prinzipien der Mobilität, Fluidität, Vergänglichkeit, Wiederholung, Kontingenz und Unbestimmtheit, mit Schwerpunkt auf Nicht-Wissen und Nicht-Repräsentation. Durch diese gemeinsamen Akte eröffnet THE HUB einen Raum, um über politische und soziale Herausforderungen in einer Welt schnell wechselnder Machtstrukturen nachzudenken, die eine fragile Gegenwart und eine ungewisse Zukunft schaffen.
