Birgit Ulher & Wade Matthews, de paseo por Bogotá BIRGIT ULHER (trompeta - Hamburgo) WADE MATTHEWS (electroacústica - Madrid) Escribe Wade Matthews: Conozco a Birgit Ulher desde que coincidimos hace años para un concierto en Tel Aviv.  Se trata de una trompetista improvisadora que destaca por su lenguaje decididamente personal y su amabilidad, dos cualidades que revelan una considerable inteligencia emocional, musical y práctica y un no menor compromiso con el arte en general y el suyo en particular. Cuando me contacto para proponerme un dúo en Cruce, no lo dudé ni un instante. _____ ___ _

BANDLAND- VIENNA (AUSTRIA)

 

Volcano Trio - Gross/Hanousek/Marciniak- an international austrian/czech/polish - trio. In their playing they use preparation techniques and alternative articulation techniques. While remaining in the tradition of European freely improvised music, free jazz and music by contemporary composers . Additionally, each of them brings their own sound to the band based on their place of origin.

Do Mar & Rosilio : Maria do Mar is a Portuguese Violonist and Yoram Rosilio is a French Bass player. They met years ago and have several prodgects together including this Chamanic 8strings Duet, where transceandantal rythms meet abstract sounds.
