The s p e c t e r . c o l l e c t i v e . loves the liminal and jagged; dream emissions against time; the body as both a signscape and the flesh of feeling. The s p e c t e r . c o l l e c t i v e . is borderless, no one in particular, no demands to identify and with absolutely no affinity for authority. We are words, tones, sounds, movement, dramas, thoughts and everything outside and in between and especially that which has been casually forgotten or banished.

electroacoustic sound sculptures
the beltership fleet is composed of self-made instruments – noise boxes and odd stringed instruments crafted from scraps mostly found on the streets of Berlin – equipped with microphones and piezo elements, then fed through effects and loop machines.
Julia Kotowski graduated from Academy
of Media Arts Cologne in 2014 with an
interactive found sound installation
titled “The Salton Sea”.
Putting her soldering iron aside for
the following years, she focused her
musical efforts on her singer
songwriter project “Entertainment for
the Braindead” while working as a
visual artist in media and advertising.
EFTB toured internationally and became
part of a global live looping
community.

Central themes in his work reflect social tensions and the balance between power and resistance.
