DAVID TER-ORGANYAN - "poor" video & sound
in his own words:
" Lately, I’ve created quite a large number of works with the mouse, and I really like the idea of storytelling, of arranging my images into narratives. So I put them in a completely random order as a slideshow and set it to music I wrote a long time ago, back in 2003, using low-quality, low-bitrate mp3 compression. In this way, I developed a particular sound.
I thought that digital sound and drawing with a mouse intersect — they overlap the visual, the sonic, and the musical together. In a sense, they produce a kind of poor sound and poor image. I’m interested in povera art and poor art. "
He makes references to the tradition of modernism and its forms of abstraction in his paintings, objects, photographs and multimedia works. He at the same time combines these considerations with subversive, political and socio-critical content.
Central themes in his work reflect social tensions and the balance between power and resistance. The representation of the relationship between art and reality finds a contemporary expression in Ter-Oganyan’s work, in which socio-political commitment as the revaluation of the artistic tradition continues a tradition of critical modernism.

Sam langer - poetry
David Palliser is an artist working with improvised music, painting and works on paper. He was a significant member of the post punk band The People with Chairs Up Their Noses, later with The Donkey's Tail and continues to perform with The Charles Ives Singers. SKP, and numerous other collaborative projects. Playing alto saxophone, clarinet and objects, often with electronics, his performances are noted for their brink of collapse concentration with fragments of loops that chase the flow of playing just as he chases them.
This is the first time the poet Sam Langer and David collaborate . . . the rationale is the unknown.

THE PROPHETIC BIRD PAKHOM AND SERGEY THE RAFTSMAN

How can new migrants enrich Germany? Not everyone is able to significantly help the local economy. Intellectually? But here the criteria are very vague and difficult to calculate. But migrants are definitely able to enrich Germany mythologically. The local chthony is very different from the Eastern European chthony. The German evil spirits tend to organize everything. The statues of gnomes are supervising the perfect lawns, and the fairy is diligently combing the little dwarf's hair. The Slavic anchukutki and nedotykomki would have filled the garden with debris and tangled the poor dwarf's hair. We believe that a moderate amount of foreign mythology will benefit Germany's mythological health. Therefore, for this project, Julia Ahlert and Vsevolod Lisovsky wrote the fairy tale "The prophetic bird Pakhom and Sergey the Raftman” are considered an addition to the classic collection of Brothers Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
