During pandemy, guitarist/vocalist Changchang decided to create a new power trio. Enter Tetsuji Toyoda (Bass/Vocals) & Aoi Hama (Drums/Vocals). The new trio have spent three years writing new music, playing live and honing their sound in Japan, and a short well received tour of Taiwan with Riot Season label mates Dope Purple.In 2023, Hibushibire mark 2 finally emerged into the wider world, further expanded by the addition of percussionist Kohei Katsuma and released their third album ‘Magical Metamorphosis Third Eye’. Their most successful album to date, including four vinyl represses the band returned to the UK in late 2024 to tour once again, to ever bigger crowds and gaining an ever growing reputation as one of the best live bands around.
